News / Recent Changes And The Future Ahead
« on: February 19, 2021, 02:48:22 PM »
Hello everyone.

Over the past couple of months, we've been making some changes. Some of you that have been with us for a long time can already see some things looking and being different (such as a new, smaller website). We were the PDE clan, which started in COD4 2007 as {PD}. I'm not going to go through all of the history here, but we were all about the top end and recruiting the best. When World At War was released, we slowly started being there over time. There were quite a few good servers back then, but there was one 50-player server that was popular and we played there mainly. We had naturally gotten known on the server - so much so that we were banned from it.

We started playing at =[JFF]= Server, which was rank 75th in the server list, but it was a good server that wasn't as known at the time. We had gotten to know the admins and owner there and helped push the server to rank 15th and around that time, member [PDE]ChaosTheory pushed for us to have our own server. On a special day in February 2010, the PDE Server would enter that list. Our thing was to always be 'for the players'.

The gaming industry would bring some changes which concentrated mainly on console with PC as an afterthought, such as what the newer CODs started being, starting with the controversial Modern Warfare 2 and the lack of dedicated servers. We did move to Battlefield briefly, but starting with Battlefield 1 WW1 (which is a good game), dedicated servers wouldn't appear until months later and when they did, they were severely lacking proper features.

So, as the gaming industry changed, we made some changes as well. Instead of being the exclusive PDE which had a high level recruitment standard, we are now the open PDG community. We play various games, but most of you probably know us for our WAW servers. Thanks to you players and donators, you all have kept these servers around for years. Some of our other members are heavy in Modern Warfare (2019) and Warzone and if some of you are into it or plan to get into it, join us on Discord. We play WaW/BO3 Zombies as well. If donations get back to normal, we will bring back the WAW Zombie Co-Op server.

Although I tried to keep this short, sometimes this happens. Hopefully it's not too much for you all. Stay gaming.

This is a classic topic started by the fantastic LadyCinell back in 2012 called "Musik... What do U feel JUST Now". I'll kick it off with an early banger.

Rule #1: Hacking Or Cheating = Permanent Ban
Rule #2: No constant spamming of dumb messages
Rule #3: No Scroll/Script (this includes macros)/Bind Shooting or Alternating Key Shooting of any kind
Rule #4: No bad language or behavior towards admins or players (unless in fun)

Rule #7: No advertising or spamming of websites or servers
Rule #8: No offensive or racist language
Rule #9: No Reload Cancels/Glitch Shooting
Rule #10: NO RIFLE GRENADES Allowed

WARNING: To those with CoD4 configs/configs in general with commands on getting any advantages on players that removes scenery, allows a player to see others when they shouldn't, altering map color, skins, macros, removing smoke, reload cancels (doesn't matter how you do it), etc., remove those before playing on our server.

We are fair to all players.

Ban Requests / How To Detect Cheats In Call Of Duty
« on: February 12, 2021, 07:28:45 PM »
This Is Known As 'Aimbot'. 99% of all common aimbots are instantaneously, meaning they move from target to target with no inbetween frames on how it got to the next player.

When you are spectating this type, it will seem like the screen is flashing from one player to the next. Most typical aimbots will rack up headshot streaks as they only snap directly to the head.

This Here Is The Common 'Wallhack' or 'wh'. Lots of wallhackers today try to act as if they are playing normal, but they always slip up. Spectating this type won't show you the rectangular boxes they see or the colored silhouettes of the players, but you can still tell usually by where they shoot, how accurate they were, and by pressing the 'esc' key on the keyboard to give you their full radar and to see if recon plane/UAV has been used.

This Is a 'No Recoil' Hack. A lot of guns on CoDWaW and newer games have very low recoil so sometimes, if you suspect this hack and are not fully sure, you may need to make a test class with the gun to check. Most of the time, it's pretty obvious, especially if it's like the one in the video above where the gun has zero movement at all.

Multihacks are usually a combination of all of these. There are more advanced hacks out there, but they are usually based on these above and a good eye will always catch them.

This feature was made to educate members and future admin on what to look for when calling out cheaters. Remember the names of these hacks and don't just yell out anything. That makes a bad admin. Always have proof. Find out what the '/record and /stoprecord' feature does in game. Note that these are not all of the hacks, just the most commonly used ones.

Donations / So...What Is A Regular/VIP And How Do I Become One?
« on: February 04, 2021, 02:58:42 AM »

Regulars are players who enjoy playing at our servers and also bring friends and guests. Eventually, everyone knows them and they become friends of the family.

To become a VIP, there are 3 ways at the moment:

Donations: Only $11 will give you Lifetime VIP Status! (which means forever). It's also needed to help keep servers alive and is the fastest way (instantly). Any additions to commands that are made to the Regular/VIP area, you will automatically have. Donations can be made from the orange button at the top of our site (Make sure to leave a message in your donation or here on the site of who you are so we can grant you your status.

Playing Often: If you play very often, you will eventually become a regular. This will take quite some time and is the longest way

Bringing Friends: More players you bring to the server is a way to becoming a VIP

Recruited As A Clan Member**: All recruited clan members automatically gain rank

Regulars get special privileges in the servers. I can't name everything, but they can be seen by typing !help in the chat area. Some main ones are:

  • Voting System. Regulars can vote to change a map or mode. They can also vote to kick an annoying player.
  • Exempt From Warnings (to a certain degree). Some players have real bad ways and they usually don't last long, but other players become Regulars because they don't have any bad intent. They are usually cool and friendly with others. Regulars don't get warnings at all (unless doing something very negative).
  • Server Commands. I can't list them all here because there are a lot aaaaand... I don't remember all of them hehe. Regulars can check them out for themselves with the '!help' command in server chat.
  • Added Protection. If we see someone giving a Regular a hard time, we will give them a hard time. If they want to take it far, so can we.
  • New Commands And Features. Regulars get access to all of the newest added commands which are constantly being added.
  • Player Stats. We are currently working on bringing stats back for Regular/VIP players. Stay tuned!
Anything else, Regulars will see all the other commands by using the !help command in chat. You will see a list and if you need to see the commands again, you can hold shift and press the console (tilde) key which will show you a chat log. If you need to know what each command means, type !help < commandsname >.

We do what we can to give you guys a great experience playing at the servers. They are your servers also, so if you need anything, just let us know. We listen to the players. After all, we are players too.

You can also help out by subscribing here PDE Youtube

Note: To keep balance, we reserve the right to pull an individual's regular/VIP rank if they become abusive or trouble making, constantly breaking the rules, cheating, and are unworthy of the rank
